Double Color Melamine Press Machine with PLC Automated Control System
The Double Color Melamine Press Machine is an advanced hydraulic compression molding system designed for manufacturing two-tone melamine dinnerware. This specialized equipment integrates two different colored melamine molding compounds into single products, creating visually striking tableware with contrasting interior/exterior colors or multi-colored patterns.
Product Overview
Also known as two-color melamine molding machine, bi-color hydraulic press, or dual-tone tableware forming machine, this equipment uses sophisticated mold technology and precision material dosing to produce high-value-added products including two-tone bowls, dual-color plates, contrasting cups, and decorative serving trays.
Primary Keywords: double color melamine press machine, two color melamine molding machine, bi-color tableware hydraulic press, dual color dinnerware forming machine, double color compression molding
How Double Color Melamine Press Machines Work
The Two-Color Molding Process
Step 1: Material Preparation - Two different colored melamine molding compounds are prepared, typically contrasting colors like white/black, red/white, or custom brand colors. Each color is preheated separately to 40-50°C for optimal flow characteristics.
Step 2: Precision Dosing - The machine's automatic weighing system doses precise quantities of each color powder. Double color production requires exact material distribution to prevent color bleeding while ensuring complete mold filling.
Step 3: Sequential Mold Filling
First Color Injection: Primary color (often exterior) is loaded into the mold cavity
Second Color Injection: Secondary color (often interior or accent) is precisely positioned
Dual-color molds feature specialized runners and gates that control color placement
Step 4: Compression & Curing
Hydraulic pressing at 150-180°C under 200-350 tons pressure
Degassing cycles: Up to 99 air releases to eliminate bubbles between color layers
Curing time: Precisely controlled to ensure chemical bonding between colors without bleeding
Step 5: Automatic Ejection - Finished two-color product is automatically ejected, ready for edge grinding and polishing.
